Tim Tebow not an issue for the Jaguars
The Jets are still in the process of coming to terms with what their season has become. For those of you that have avoided Jets football most of the year, it's a joke.
The trade that moved Tim Tebow from Denver to New York was one of the few bright spots for the Jaguars in 2012. It kept Tebow away from Jacksonville, and it now appears that Greg McElroy, not Tebow, could get the opportunity to start over Mark Sanchez.
Through all of Monday's talk of Tebow starting on Sunday, no one seemed to mention that the Jaguars have absolutely nothing to worry about if Tebow did in fact start, but as it turns out, it appears as if he won't be starting.
The Tim Tebow story line has been over played, and I'm hoping this little bit ranting puts it to bed, at least on this site. Even if Tebow makes it onto the field on Sunday, who cares? Tebow isn't a great quarterback, and he's probably not going to kill you with his arm. In short, Tebow is irrelevant this weekend. It's all about Chad Henne, the Jaguars' receivers and Mark Sanchez or Greg McElroy.
